Pricing & Billing
Learn about our plans, the run allowance, and how to manage your subscription.
SmartStaff has three plans. Here's a simple guide to what they are and how to manage them.
What You Pay For
The thing that is metered is the run — one performance of a process. Describing processes, writing agents and building teams cost nothing; only the work the team actually does draws on your allowance.
One run covers 250,000 tokens. A very long run counts as more than one.
Our Plans
- Free: the whole app, including MCP access, with 10 runs a month for the organization. No card, no checkout. What Free holds back is persistence — memory, agent knowledge bases and file uploads — not capability.
- Pro: billed per seat. The organization gets 10 runs a month plus 20 for each seat, and the whole allowance is pooled, so a quiet colleague's runs fund a busy one. Memory, agent knowledge bases and file uploads are included.
- Enterprise: a negotiated plan with the run allowance written into the contract.
Every paid plan starts with a free trial. That checkout does ask for a card, and nothing is charged before the trial ends.
You can see the current prices on our official pricing page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I change my plan later? A: Yes. Move up or down at any time in your billing settings; we charge the difference for the rest of the period.
Q: What happens when I reach my run allowance? A: A run that has already started finishes. New runs are refused until the next period, or until you add a seat or a run add-on. Nothing you have built is touched, and creating agents, teams and processes stays free.
Q: Do the MCP servers work on the Free plan? A: Yes, in both directions: your agents can use MCP tools, and your teams are reachable from ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor. Those runs draw on the same monthly allowance as runs started in the app.
